Serdar Bişiren (Perküsyon)
Serdar Bişiren was born at 1968.After completing his primary and high school he has began his musical studies in Istanbul by starting to İ.T.Ü Devlet Konservatuvarı. While he was studying Turkish Music at school , on the other hand he worked at “ Choir of Turkish music of Radio Istanbul “ with Ahmet Özhan. After graduating conservatory he began to study as a rhythmic instruments artist at “Istanbul Historical Turkish Music Ensemble of Ministry of Culture of Republic of Turkey”. With this ensemble he performed many concerts around the world as rhythm artist which performed classical and sufi music with Ahmet Özhan. Separately he performed with many other artists both at studio recordings and on stage performances also. Some of the artists that he performed with are : Bekir Sıdkı Sezgin, Alaeddin Yavaşça, İnci Çayırlı and Yıldırım Gürses. He performed with Ayangil Orchestra and Choir which conducted by Ruhi Ayangil between years 1986-1991. Even so he performed Classical Ottoman Music at Lybia and Universitiy of Goethe in Germany with Ruhi Ayangil, both on stage and studio recordings. He accompanied to the Theatre Music of “Hamlet 2001 Ustalarımıza” with rhythmic instruments. He played rhythms of the CD‘s; “İlahiyat-ı Kenan ” and “Padişah Bestekarlar ” wich are the part of the 5 set CD “Ateş-i Aşk ” that performed by Ahmet Özhan. He studied with Ruhi Ayangil at the CD project “Variations of Katibim”He performed at the CD’s “Respect to Şeyh Galip“ and “Songs of Tura“ with Ruhi Ayangil Turkish music Orchestra and Choir. He performed with the superior virtuosos “Yurdal Tokcan“and “Göksel Baktagir“ both on stage and studio. At 2003 he performed at the project “Mızrabın Nefesi” with Şenol Filiz and Birol Yayla. He is still married and father of one child. He is still keep on performing with “Istanbul Historical Turkish Music Ensemble of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Republic of Turkey”.
